I will be starting my own business from my home/college, and I have had many ideas but I want something that would be successful. Does anyone have any ideas?

Start a blog and add adsense on it. There are many people doing it.
You can pick up info all over the net, use google, search bloggers or professional bloggers.
The idea is to have a place with good info about something, then people will visit it.
If you have ads on your pages when people click on the ads you get paid.
Each click will only generate a small amount, even only 0.05 but the more traffic the more clicks.
Depending on the topic you choose to talk about, clicks can be worth more, it’s all a matter of testing and see what works.
All tools are out there to make your life easier.. at first it is very little money if any at all but when it starts to come in it will happen all by itself.

Sold my house. Did change of address. Contacted suppliers for my home business of new address. New owner harassing that when he googles the address my business name still appears linked to the address. Tried to contact these web sites/businesses (trying to be nice) and cant get through to some of them. They are fly by nights or spammers. Do I have any legal obligations?

no you have no legal obligation unless you agreed to something in purchase agreement. you deeded property to buyer as promised.

tell him you have done all you can do and leave you alone.

Looking for a home busibusiness opportunity, probably some sort of an affiliate thing but if you have a better idea feel free to lemme know. I am not looking to do the sales thing as I am not much of a talker, but have lots of free time so something I could work at, maybe with my hands? Minor assembling or something maybe. I am looking for something with little to no overhead and with some room for growth… If you have any ideas please let me know. Thank you.

The vast majority of work at home offers are fake, one expert estimates only 1 in 55 is real. Scams that have been around longer than the internet, like envelope stuffing jobs are still around. Refusing to pay for job membership, startup package or ready made web sites will eliminate a lot of the scammers.

More people make it with their own businesses, built with a lot of sweat and effort, I suggest to get a feel for some of these activities you search the web for affiliate marketing, freelance professional or blogging income. Spend some time on the forums discussing these activities.

If it sounds too good to be true…it’s only good for the other guy.

I am starting up a newsletter business in home and I know I would like to target small business and churches. Is it better to send them a sell letter first or an advertisment flier or would it be more affective with in person stop?

Depending on your approach, I would suggest doing both. If you are familiar with churches in your area, I would stop in with a professional brochure or brief synopsis on what it is you are trying to accomplish and arrange a follow up meeting with the decision maker in the church. The in-person stop allows you to create a relationship and relationships create opportunities.

Remember just a few years ago when research published by the United Nations Environment Program stated that so-called "Global Warming" would push snow levels to higher attitudes and that skiing would gone within years?

Now that ski resorts are open as far south as North Carolina, what is the current status of report? Is this report still plausible, or is this just another miserable global warming prediction failure?

I am in a medium sized city where they types of jobs I would get are over an hours drive away. I would like to be able to work from home.
I am trained to be an Administrative Assistant. The types of positions that breaks down to are data entry, receptionist, file clerk, Administrative Assistant, and Machine Transcriptionist. The last one I am not good at so it is not an option.

I’ve been to several and just when I think they might be legitimate, they give a "thumbs up" to an opportunity that is a well known scam. Also when you have been to alot of these sites you’ll notice one site will rate an opportunity as good, then another site says it’s a scam. There is a whole bunch of conflicting information.

There are a lot of rip offs out there so be very careful. Most of them want you to give them a lot of upfront money, for which you’ll never see a dime in return. I do work from home, but I did A LOT of research first. I was a banker for many years, and was not happy. The trip back and forth to work, bosses, pay, you name it. So, I started researching work from home ideas that I could use my skill with. I settled on Canyon as an Equipment Leasing Broker. Basically, I bring together people who want to lease equipment with those that want to lend money. I’ve received a few offers for business opportunities with company based out of the U.S. and would like to check out these companies, before I decieded to work for them.

It depends.. I would check at scam.com and ripoffreport.com as a starting place.

If they have ANY mention of you handling money, transferring money, needing a bank account in order to work, etc, just RUN and don’t bother looking any further.

With little or no money to invest. That only takes effort, smart work, desire & very little coaching. Please Respond with a reputable "Real business opportunity".
